Itinerary

Day 1Drive Kigali → Nyungwe, evening nature talk

  • Morning pickup in Kigali (optional add-on) and scenic drive to Nyungwe (approx. 5 hrs)
  • Check-in at Nyungwe Forest Lodge or Gisakura Guest House
  • Afternoon canopy walk (70 m above ground) followed by tandem zipline
  • Sundowner drinks on the forest edge, dinner at the lodge

Day 2Canopy walk & bird-watching excursion

  • Pre-dawn transfer to the forest edge for chimpanzee trekking (3–4hrs)
  • Mid-morning colobus monkey tracking
  • Guided hike to Kamiranzovu Waterfall and natural pool swim or Village visit for cultural dance performance and local crafts demonstration.

Day 3Chimp trek & return to Kigali
